Questions? We're Here to Help!

Most families come in with the same handful of questions: how old should my child be before a first visit, how long does treatment take, what does it cost, and what will insurance cover. The answers to the questions we hear most often are below. If your question is not here, a free consultation at either the Westlake or Norwalk office is the fastest way to get a direct answer from Dr. Chhibber.

Getting Started with Orthodontic Treatment

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends a first evaluation by age 7. By that point, enough permanent teeth have come in for Dr. Chhibber to spot any developing issues. Most kids that age will not need treatment yet, but an early evaluation lets him monitor growth and plan ahead for when the timing is right.

Treatment Options, Cost, and Insurance

Most orthodontic treatment at AC Orthodontics ranges from $3,500 to $7,000, depending on the type of treatment and the complexity of your case. We accept most major dental insurance at both locations and bill your plan directly, so you are only responsible for your portion. Payment plans are available with no initial payment required and manageable monthly installments, and you will receive a complete cost estimate at your free consultation.
