One Doctor. Every Option.

AC Orthodontics offers orthodontic treatment for kids, teens, and adults at both the Westlake and Norwalk offices. Consultations are free, and Dr. Chhibber will walk you through every option before any treatment begins.
Every case is handled by Dr. Chhibber personally, at both locations. He evaluates each new patient himself, designs the treatment plan, and manages every adjustment from the first visit to the last. For families who want to know exactly who is treating their child and what the plan looks like, that consistency matters.

Orthodontic Care at Every Age

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends a first evaluation by age 7. Dr. Chhibber sees kids at that age not because most of them need treatment yet, but because identifying a developing problem early can make eventual treatment shorter and simpler. If no issues are found, he will monitor growth over time and bring your child back when something actually warrants attention. Most parents appreciate the honest answer more than anything.

Braces

Metal braces remain the most versatile and reliable option in orthodontics, well-suited to everything from simple crowding to more complex bite corrections. The brackets and wires have gotten smaller and more comfortable than what most parents remember from their own childhoods. Dr. Chhibber uses metal braces with patients of all ages at both offices. Kids tend to enjoy customizing the look with colored elastic ties.

Clear Aligners

Clear aligners are a series of custom-fit, removable plastic trays that gradually move teeth into position. You wear each set of trays for one to two weeks, then move to the next. Treatment requires 20 to 22 hours of wear per day, and the trays come out for eating and brushing.
At AC Orthodontics, aligner treatment starts with a 3D scan of your teeth. No impressions, no trays full of putty. Dr. Chhibber maps out the full treatment plan from that scan, and patients can see the projected result before any trays are made. Clear aligners are available for teens and adults at both the Westlake and Norwalk offices.

Corrective Jaw Surgery

Some bite issues go beyond what braces or aligners can correct on their own. When the underlying cause is the position of the jaw rather than the teeth alone, corrective jaw surgery (orthognathic surgery) may be part of the treatment plan. Significant overbites, underbites, open bites, and certain cases of facial asymmetry all fall into this category.
Dr. Chhibber manages the orthodontic component throughout the process, working in coordination with an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. This typically means preparing the teeth through pre-surgical orthodontics before the procedure, then continuing treatment during recovery to finalize the bite. A free consultation is the first step in understanding whether corrective jaw surgery applies to your situation.

Retainers

Retainers are the final step of orthodontic treatment, and one of the most important. After braces or aligners come off, teeth need time to stabilize in their new positions. Wearing a retainer as directed is what protects the result you worked for.
AC Orthodontics offers both fixed and removable retainers. Fixed retainers bond to the back of the teeth and require no daily maintenance. Removable retainers are worn at night. Dr. Chhibber will recommend the right type based on the specifics of your case.

Sleep Apnea

Sleep apnea is a condition in which the airway partially or fully closes during sleep, disrupting rest and contributing to a range of long-term health concerns. In many cases, the structure of the jaw, the position of the tongue, or the alignment of the teeth plays a role in the obstruction. Orthodontic treatment can address some of those underlying structural factors, particularly in children during active facial development and in adults with mild to moderate sleep apnea.
At AC Orthodontics, Dr. Chhibber evaluates airway health as part of comprehensive orthodontic care. Options may include oral appliance therapy, airway-focused orthodontics, or treatment coordinated with a sleep medicine physician. A free consultation is the first step.

Technology at AC Orthodontics

Traditional dental impressions meant biting into a tray full of material and holding still while it set. A 3D scanner replaces all of that with a small wand that captures a precise digital model of your teeth in minutes. The result is more accurate than a physical impression, more comfortable for the patient, and immediately available to Dr. Chhibber for planning your treatment.
